Privacy Policy
FMLLINK (the "Operator") sets out this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") to explain how users' information is handled in the smartphone app "TRAINING COACH" (the "App").
This page is an English translation of the Japanese Privacy Policy. If there is any difference between the two versions, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information We Collect
(1) Account information (if you sign in)
- The email address, display name and user ID provided when you sign in with Google or Apple
(2) Profile (optional, if you sign in)
- Name, sex and date of birth
- The date and time you agreed to "Before you start" (the health notice)
(3) Record data

- Your training profile, such as height, target weight and activity level, and your App settings
Record data is stored on your device. Only for Premium plan users, it is also stored on the Operator's server so that it can be restored after changing devices or reinstalling the App. If you use the App without signing in, record data is stored only on your device and is not sent to the Operator's server.
(4) Purchase information
- The status of paid plan purchases, renewals and cancellations (such as the type of plan and its expiry date)
Payment information such as credit card numbers is managed by the App Store and is not collected by the Operator.
(5) Advertising information (on the free plan)
- The advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), device information, approximate location, and information about how ads are shown and interacted with
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the App's features (such as logging, charts and statistics, and showing advice)
- To manage your sign-in status and verify your identity
- To provide paid plans and check your purchase status
- To store and restore the record data of Premium plan users
- To show ads on the free plan
- To respond to inquiries, investigate problems and improve the App
3. Information Sent to External Services
To provide its features, the App uses the following external services and sends them information to the extent necessary.
| Service | Provider | Information sent and purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Authentication | Google LLC | Account information at sign-in. For signing in and verifying identity |
| Cloudflare Workers / D1 | Cloudflare, Inc. | Account information, profile, purchase status, and the record data of Premium plan users. Used as the Operator's server and database |
| RevenueCat | RevenueCat, Inc. | User ID and purchase information. To manage the purchase status of paid plans |
| App Store | Apple Inc. | For purchasing and paying for paid plans |
| Google AdMob | Google LLC | The information in 1.(5). To show ads on the free plan |
These providers may be located outside Japan (mainly in the United States), and information is handled in accordance with each provider's privacy policy. Apart from the above, the Operator does not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
4. Advertising and Tracking
On the free plan, the App shows ads through Google AdMob. On iOS, the App asks whether you allow tracking before using the advertising identifier. If you do not allow it, non-personalized ads are still shown. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent screen for advertising, and can change their consent from the App's Settings screen. No ads are shown on paid plans (the Ad-free plan and the Premium plan).
5. Retention and Deletion
- Account information and profile: kept until you delete your account.
- Record data (on your device): on the free plan, the last 30 days are kept and older records are automatically deleted from your device. On paid plans there is no time limit (once 30 days have passed after a paid plan ends, the free plan rules apply).
- Record data (on the server, Premium plan only): kept while you are on the Premium plan, and deleted once 30 days have passed after the Premium plan ends. If you resubscribe within that period, you can continue using it as before.
- When you use "Delete account" in the App, the account information, profile and record data stored on the Operator's server, and the records on your device, are deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid plan subscription, so please cancel it from your App Store account settings.
6. Security
The Operator works to prevent leakage, loss or damage of the information it collects through measures such as encrypted communication (HTTPS), identity verification by sign-in, and limiting the information that can be accessed.
7. Requests for Disclosure, Correction and Deletion
You can view and change your profile and delete your account from the App's Settings screen. If you would otherwise like your information to be disclosed, corrected, deleted or no longer used, please contact us using the details below. We will respond in accordance with the law after verifying your identity.
8. Minors
If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent of your parent or guardian.
9. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may change this Policy when necessary. If an important change is made, notice will be given in the App or on this page. The changed Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
